THE ADMISSIONS PROCESS

Ashley Academy seeks students of average, above average, or gifted ability who have intellectual curiosity and motivation to perform successfully. One of the goals of the admissions process is to bring together a group of students who represent diverse cultural and economic backgrounds thus contributing a variety of interests and talents to the school community. Ashley Academy admits students of any race, religion, gender, or national background.

To complete the application process, it is necessary to submit an enrollment application, a $30.00 application fee, and copies of school records. A campus and classroom visit and an interview are required unless precluded by distance. Inquiries by phone, Internet, or in person regarding the school are always welcome. Enrollment is rolling, and some students begin classes at Ashley Academy after the academic year is in progress. Candidates for admission to the fall term are strongly encouraged to enroll early. After classes are filled, candidates are placed on a waiting list. Waiting list applications are held and maintained by the date received. Any applicant who is offered a space but declines will be allowed to keep their present space in line for the next enrollment year if they desire to remain on the waiting list.

A current tuition and fee schedule is available through the admissions office. A limited number of scholarships are available each year, depending on vacant spaces. All awards are based on financial need. Applications for financial assistance should be completed by May 1, and awards will be made in June, prior to the beginning of the academic year.
