Check out our brand new Griffin STEM Lab! We've been exploring the steps of the Scientific Method through chemical reactions with our Learning League (second through fourth grade) students (and don't worry...no dollar bills were harmed!).
Our new STEM Lab features a demonstration station, Lego Robotics, and coding. We also have a construction zone with a Lego wall and all the materials students can imagine to use in problem solving challenges!

Ashley Academy is seeking a caring, energetic, and reliable Extended Care Worker to join our after-school team!
In this role, you will:
✅ Supervise and engage students in grades K and up
✅ Offer snacks and foster a fun, welcoming environment
✅ Organize games and creative activities to keep students active and social

’Twas the night before the first day of school,
When all through Ashley Academy, not a classroom was dull;
The bulletin boards were hung by the doors with care,
In hopes that eager young minds soon would be there.
The teachers nestled snug in their beds,
While visions of lesson plans danced in their heads;
And the admin in offices, all wearing bright smiles,
Awaited the joy of students filling the aisles.
When out on the lawn there arose such a clatter,
The sound of children’s laughter—oh, nothing could matter more;
Away to the windows the teachers all dashed,
Threw open the shutters and lifted the sash.
The sun on the faces of students so bright,
Brought hope and excitement for futures alight;
When, what to our wondering eyes should appear,
But a sea of young minds, ready to learn and to cheer.
With a twinkle in eyes and a spring in each step,
Every student eager for memories to collect;
More rapid than eagles the school day would fly,
And teachers and students together gave a happy sigh.
"Now art! Now math! Now science and history!
On reading! On writing! On projects and mystery!
To the end of the hall, to the last bell’s call,
Now learn away! Learn away! Learn away, all!"
And as the day came to its warm, gentle close,
The teachers all smiled, their hearts full, heaven knows—
"Happy first day of school! We’re so glad you came!"
And the joy in their voices called each child by name.

🏐 Volleyball Camp Highlights! 🏐
Today, Coach switched things up and took our players to the sand volleyball court!
Digging and diving, in the sand challenged their strength and balance and brought plenty of laughs along the way.
All week, our campers have been working hard, building skills, and making memories both on and off the court. We love seeing their dedication, teamwork, and love for the game grow each day!

🌲🏕 Wilderness Camp is under way at Ashley Academy! 🏕🌲
Our campers set up “Camp Ashley Academy,” working together as a team to pitch all the tents.
Mr. Mac joined the fun, sharing lessons in navigation so our campers can find their way on any adventure. 🧭
And what’s camp without a little homemade magic? Campers churned their own butter to enjoy on fresh bread they’ll be baking later this week over the fire pit! 🔥🍞🧈
